Queensland Community Renewables Forums will be held in communities in the Western Downs and Central and North Queensland over the next six months.

The events are an opportunity to learn more about the potential benefits of renewable energy developments in your community as well as impacts and how they will be managed.

Renewable energy developers, local and state government officials, and representatives from the agricultural and environmental sectors will be available to answer questions about what to expect in coming years and listen to your views.

This conversation is important in helping communities, First Nations people, agricultural producers and the renewable energy industry to develop the shared understanding of each other’s interests necessary for balanced economic, environmental and socially responsible outcomes.
